I certainly know not to trust "theworldaccordingtomurdoch.com" but wikinews.com seems to be pretty unbiased.

And while it may look unbiased, you have to remember that because it's a wiki, anyone can write an article or modify an existing one.

look around you, big name brands smother the mall's interior. the most popular places are probably ones that were carried around by the media/other people

Poor chinese people. They don't have complete access to the internet.
