Argh! All the writing and brainstorming caused me to forget about a history test I had to study for. I completely forgot DDDDx
There's nothing I can do now because I took the test yesterday

Re: Write A Novel in... *heart attack* 17 days!?

I went to a NaNo meet at my local library
I didn't even bring a notebook or laptop or anything, I just walked around the room looking awkward for less than a minute and left
Man I need to plan these things ahead of time
I got a lot of books though  big_smile  (the stupid library still doesn't have Doctor Who srs 3 disc 1, grr)

It also might motivate me if Google Docs could keep up with my typing
I go at like 80wpm and it's going at about 30wpm and it's driving me insane
The only real reasons I haven't resorted to Wordpad is because
1. It would take like half an hour just to highlight the whole story [in order to copy/paste it] because of the program's awesome speed, and if I copy paste it from the published doc page, it will double space it for some reason, which I hate.
2. I like the curling quotation marks lol

I use gedit, the only program I can seriously write in at all. It doesn't have those quotation marks though. :\
I think OpenOffice does though. Have you tried that?

Quite good.

My teachers want me to do this, they think that my writing is awesome. I give an essay to my dad and he falls out of his chair laughing at stuff I didn't mean to be funny.

Thanks man!  big_smile

I finished my first chapter (5003 words) and am steaming right ahead.

I wanna read yours when it's done... Tweet me bro

5000 words for one chapter? Most scratchers make too short chapters but this one might be too long (not that it matters if you have not so many chapters)

Don't worry, it's a good length
