Chapter 1:
Here I am again. Two people, one soul. How did this happen?

Originally, I was a human. Or, to be exact, a very smart human. She discovered the 'planes' and the 'otherworlds', and then she met me. I had never seen a human, and apparently she had never seen a 'living' shadow. She said the only shadows they had were created from light. Ridiculous, I thought! Then, Maria found out about her discovering the Planes, and killed her. I would never let that happen, so I took the blow. A dead shadow's soul and mind latch on to the closest living thing that is non-shadow, which was her. Now I am part of two bodies, but I am only one soul. And that's where my story starts. Again.

Her, or as I should say, 'Macci', had saved me twice now. As I fell into the darkness, I was reborn again into her. So now, I am not one body, but two, who are joined together by a single rope, a soul, a mind.

So, now, as I lay here in the darkness, I see a figure over me. It's Maria.
"I'm not Maria." says the voice softly. I realize it's Macci. I realize it's me.
