You just said they couldn't -_- in 'private' -_-

there could be: private, only group members can post, anyone can see.
.....
Can you please point out where I said people couldn't see?

I think the disagreement here is over what is meant by "private". MCR is saying that something is "private" if only permitted people can post - but everybody can still read and flag (if necessary). S^4 is defining "private" as only permitted people can post OR read or flag.
Please pardon the name abbreviations

what paddle said, I have explained it properly, but it seems you skip over all those points and just notice keywords.
no matter what, you will be able to see and report whatever anyone says at all.

Alright, I did not only see the keywords. I saw this:

public, anyone can post
semi-public, anyone can post, but group members have a blue background on their posts
also options for invites: public, anyone can join
invite only, only group leader or certain members can invite non-members to join
join by request, non-members must request to join (which will be accepted or denied as the leader/certain members see fit)
Notice how there the grammar inconsistencies lead me to believe that 'private' is separate to 'Only groups members can post' ?
Now, do you believe that it wasn't me misreading, but your grammar errors that caused me to believe you meant something totally different altogether?

I left a gap between each one, most people learn that they're meant to be seperate, but you see to do everything differently. I also put in commas between each statment with a space between each different group, but due to the scratch forum editor being so bad, I couldn't put a simple list in.
I leave gaps in what I say because I know people will be able to work it out, but you're getting stuff so weird I never thought anyone could get that from what I'm saying.
Maybe no-one understands because you do anything and everything differently?

Actually, what you would have wanted to use was ; not , !
It would mean that both things are important so you would have done:
Private; Only group members can post however everyone can see
etc etc.

Well, I think what you could do is have a special button which makes a project 'private' and then you have a button which you can allow certain people to view the project.

it's a simple list, I'm not pouring in man hours to make a sentence one person will understand
