Can you please point out where I said people couldn't see?

I think the disagreement here is over what is meant by "private".  MCR is saying that something is "private" if only permitted people can post - but everybody can still read and flag (if necessary).  S^4 is defining "private" as only permitted people can post OR read or flag.

Alright, I did not only see the keywords.  I saw this:

semi-public, anyone can post, but group members have a blue background on their posts

also options for invites: public, anyone can join
invite only, only group leader or certain members can invite non-members to join
join by request, non-members must request to join (which will be accepted or denied as the leader/certain members see fit)

Notice how there the grammar inconsistencies lead me to believe that 'private' is separate to 'Only groups members can post' ?

Now, do you believe that it wasn't me misreading, but your grammar errors that caused me to believe you meant something totally different altogether?

Actually, what you would have wanted to use was ; not , !
It would mean that both things are important so you would have done:

Private; Only group members can post however everyone can see
etc etc.

it's a simple list, I'm not pouring in man hours to make a sentence one person will understand
