i dissagree if only spam mods could do this they woulf=d have to cheak all post also everyone else would try to tell em about spam the would be overwelmed

No, because the Spam Mod can only be people selected by ST, and if they just marked a comment as spam cause the hate the person, then that user will get ban. It also sends a notification to the ST if a comment is marked as spam, so ST can review it two.  BTW, when a comment get's marked, all that user's comments disappear until he/she's comments are marked as safe.

It just seems like an extra thing to program in that doesn't seem all that useful, especially when there's a button that does the same thing right beside it.

I didn’t have time to read any of the replies, so I’m not sure if someone has already said this. This describes Moderators and the Scratch Team. It would be wasteful to have Moderators directed only toward spam. And this would cause bundles of spam on the forums because of New Scratchers asking topics such as “how can i becum a spam modurater!!!!!!?!?!??”

Or at least, that’s how I imagine it.

Against spamming!

Yeah, we've recently been attacked by a pesky spam robot. We need to do some stuff to to make it harder for spam-robots to attack us, so we're working on it. For now, the best way to help is just by flagging any commercial spam as soon as you see it - that helps us get it all down as quick as possible. Thanks!

The spam moderator part is good but what if somebody just clicked the "mark as spam" button just to click it? That would be unfair. Example:
Comment: This is cool!
Mean person: It is not! I'm going to mark this as spam!!!!!!
Now the comment is marked as spam and he/she has to wait until his/her comment is safe.
Correct me if I'm wrong, sometimes i don't get the concept of things lol 
But overall it's a good idea
