good sound resources

I'm having trouble finding the right sounds for scratch projects. My only resource right now is the freesound project website. Can anybody help?

Re: good sound resources

Sure, this is a good idea actually (not sure it's advanced.

You need to sign up but I use these two royalty free sound sites, the first being the better:

www.freesfx.co.uk

http://music-for-video.com

Re: good sound resources

JSO, apologies for the off-topic but I have two questions:

Firstly, are the sounds on Scratch Resources all royalty free to use? Secondly, did you ever have MySQL problems with the site cos I have blocks.scratchr.org on the same server that I'm working on and there's no end to the MySQL problems  sad

These are some great sound sites. I'll probably be using them later. Unfortunately, they don't have what I need right now.

They're user submitted and these users provide them royalty free - but I have no real idea what the real sources are. But they can be used.

And the mysql is working fine for me :S The hosting is commercial hosting so it should be good. What kind of errors are you getting?

Re: good sound resources

Heard of Wolfram Tones? http://tones.wolfram.com/generate/ It randomly generates original music, and if you come across one that you like, you can use it in a project  wink

I'm working on a game that uses music from there as well  big_smile
