I feel sorry for all of the people who lost their lives, but i'm disappointed in America for discriminating the Muslims just because Osama was Muslim.


Why can't America be smart for once?


Fun fact: Everyone knows Bush took an hour to send out the signal. But guess what he was doing in the meantime. He was reading to Booker Elementary students. He completely IGNORED the secret service telling him something happened.

Yup.

It's because so many people are so unsure, or have the wrong idea, that we discriminate muslims. I don't despise the jihadis, I'm just very sad that they feel the only way to bring religious unity is through war.

Me and my dad saw it in real life, from the roof of our apartment building.
But I was only 3 and don't remember it, though.
I remember a dream, however, that was likely based on that.  A giant dustball, bigger than our house, fell out of the night sky and started rolling towards our house.

Guys, seriously, just because AnimeCreatorArtist was being disrespectful does not give you the right to be disrespectful back, so stop the flaming.  As for the talk about Bush, what the heck would you have done if you were the president of the United States and one of the largest terrorist attacks ever planned had just happened?  It's not his fault it happened, and it's not his fault it wasn't stopped.

They were mean, but you wear talking it to far. He was just saying that the planes flying into the towers KILLING THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE looked cool. He's not saying that he was glad 9/11 happened.

It's been established that 9/11 was a horrible tragedy--words can't even describe it.
Some insensitive things have been said, and some people were offended.  That's behind us.  This thread isn't about pinning the blame for 9/11 on someone, or making jokes about it.  If that's what you want to do, then you probably shouldn't post here.

Regarding what's happening here in this thread:
In the realm of the internet where many people from many different cultures, ages, and backgrounds exists, it can be hard for some to understand the magnitude of something as tragic like 9/11.

Sometimes it's a good thing to discuss feelings triggered by the event and the events themselves, but be aware that some people are more sensitive to 9/11 others. On a personal level of having gone through the 9/11 event myself (I was in a school whose window offered a partial view of the NYC skyline and direct view of the World Trade Center), thinking back to this event isn't always easy and so it makes me cringe [and perhaps angry] when people take light of what happened on 9/11. I'd imagine it is harder for my friends and classmates who lost family members on that day. So for those who have not been majorly affected by 9/11 - I'd like for you to think before you post. Around 3000 victims died on that day, and thousands more have been traumatized, so be mindful about what you say in here.

Also, please do not forget that this isn't the best place to stir up political debate (so stuff like blaming the president or post 9/11 government decision, etc. is better left for the handful of offsite debate forums floating around on the World Wide Web).
