Seriously, I've had way too many projects freeze because of their size and I can't do anything to save my latest projects. Can Scratch 2.0 have an auto-save or a recovery file? Cuz I would be extremely grateful of that.

I totally agree. I used to have a painfully slow computer which would crash every five minutes. When we finally bought a new computer, in the first Scratch project I made, we had a power outage, so I lost everything.

Not really. Scratch would only save every couple of minutes, and you should be able to turn it off.

Bumping this again...I really think it needs to be confirmed by a moderator that the Scratch Team has seen this and taken it into consideration.

Actually, in Squeak even saving once an hour would freeze the program temporarily (even in the middle of dragging a script).
However, with Flash's multitasking, it shouldn't be a problem. And I support!
