This would make ragdolls so much easier!

There should be a block that says: switch to ragdoll mode.

Wont happen and never will, sorry, but, if you download BYOB, you can make that block for yourself!

That sounds great and all... but think of how hard that would be, and how few applications! How would it even work? It'd have to be coded to work with walls, different forms of gravity and movement, and much more. This is not to mention that Scratch's library is supposed to be as simple as possible - you need to make everything yourself. That's the point of programming, after all. Everything's pretty devalued and pointless when it's all pre-made for you.

It's where you can move the arms, legs, torso, and head in different and sometimes funny/akward ways.

Get out. There's no need for that. ~Kaj Aliv

Re: This would make ragdolls so much easier!

I have an idea. How about there could be an "attach to sprite []" in the paint editor, and there would be a draggable point like the costume center, that at that point would attach, and when you opened that sprite's paint editor, in that section, the other sprite's name would already be in that section in slot 1. Is that possible?

My signature is trying to find itself :3

Well, it is possible to make something like that.

Sorry, but let me sum it up.
Bad idea=less work put into projects.

Oh, and it could confuse Scratchers!

What you want is an inverse kinimatic tool for Scratch like this similar tool in flash:

Yes, I made that myself.  Basicly, you can anchor some, and have others poseable.

It is possible, you can make the arms and head and such point in random directions or if you move it, make it point in the other direction!

No, it isn't!
Mods, we have a baby in Section 1, Aisle 7 that needs a temporary ban!

Temporary ban?

You obviously have no idea of what you get banned for here. ;_;

If you check my project flying droids you will see that you can do what I did for the main droid's gunning arm.  It's a "light-duty" limited solution sort of thing, but it can work on small scale.  I really don't know how to do anything else that could achive that effect in Scratch.
