Did you exit Scratch and does it still show up?

Sometimes primitive errors are cause when a sprite/image/project is corrupted somehow, or when people try to modify Scratch and Scratch gets corrupted. If the error still shows up when you try to start up Scratch, then try to install a fresh version of Scratch in a separate area from your current version of Scratch and restarting your computer.  smile
