According to most of the articles I'm reading, the tornado hit Springfield, Massachusetts, so I don't think a tornado ripped through MIT.
For those who have been experiencing tornado weather: I hope you guys are okay. Stay safe.Yeah. I watched BBC news and felt so bad - the weather's gorgeous here, yet a few thousand miles away people's lives are being destroyed by Mother Nature.

Did Andres die? Hope everyone in the ST and Scratchers are okay :SErm, I don't think any of the ST members died in the incident; MIT is near Boston, not Springfield. I know the tornadoes are terrible, but let's no over-exaggerate the situation and make it sound preposterous.

It said that people died on the news. You never know, someone could have been driving to work through Springfield...

Yes, but considering that most members of the Scratch Team study and live at MIT, I highly doubt that a member of the Scratch Team was one of the four casualties.
Don't get me wrong, the ordeal does certainly sound terrible, but suddenly thinking that members of the Scratch Team are dead simply because the association with the state of Massachusetts just kind of reminds me of the time when people associate the full devastation of the 9/11 attacks with everyone living in New York state when the majority of the damage was in New York City. (My apologies if I sound kind of stringent; living in New York City and having gone through 9/11, I've found certain things to just make me tick. Over-exaggeration happens to be one of them).

No worries, I get what you mean. Sorry if I sounded, uh, dumb or disrespectful. Or insensitive. :3
I'm not really up on American geography - would you happen to know if Oklahoma is close to the areas hit? My cousin lives there and hasn't been in touch :S
Looking on Google: I never realised how large Massachusettes is... wow. I guess I'm conditioned into believing towns and cities can only be small, coming from a little village XD I mean gosh, I think BIRMINGHAM is big O_o it's nothing compared to US states, I believe...
BTW, I'd love to see New York, you're so lucky to live there!

Although Oklahoma is one of the states that are tornado-prone, I don't think Oklahoma was in the path of tornadoes in this latest incident (Oklahoma is far from Massachusetts, see for yourself):

Ah, thank you so much ^^ I'm guessing they're okay
Most people in her area have timber-based homes, but theirs is brick, so they're better protected from freak weather.
New York is quite close to Massachusettes, had any problems where you are?

I can't say for elsewhere in New York state, but, at least in New York City there hasn't been any inclement weather. It has been largely sunny here for the past few days.

Weird how it didn't affect you but it did another state relatively close by
Still, glad you survived. If something had happened to you, the forums would fall into disrepair XD Lol
The apocalypse has arrived early...

Hey!
Me and all of my friends have officially survived.

The most recent tornadoes didn't hit my town, gladly. But we still got a bad storm. No power outages, though. I think I was lucky. Apparently my friend's mom's favorite restaurant's roof got ripped off by the tornado. ._.

Its a bad tornado season, can't wait for Summer. But then again that time is Thunderstorm Season.

First my city just barely survives (it hit a nearby city however), now wave is in danger. I know that tornadoes are going across the united states...
And we could be getting another one. T_T
So is this the gradual end of the world? Wouldn't surprise me...
I've been wondering if we've been seeing signs of a gradual apocalypse... now we need to keep calm about this. A moment of silence...
I DON'T WANNA DIE!!!!! HELP MEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
