What does SIMPL-DOS stand for? (If it stands for anything.)

The SIMPL part of course, means "simple", and originally, SIMPL-DOS was simple and very lightweight (2-3 KB, compared to 24 KB for 0.42). the DOS part, well, you can probably figure that part out.  wink

Except SIMPL-DOS does not run on disks, unless you fix that bootsector issue.

That was never an issue at all, it was just a fail on fire219's part. And it always runs on some sort of disk  wink

Maybe. The only issue we have is with the illegal character checker in the text editor, and we need to clean up documentation. (Though I presume you won't need that  wink )

Really, we could just take out the illegal char checker code, and finally release SDB.

@bbbeb Yes, if we can find a way to get it to you. (The ST would not appreciate you posting your email  tongue )

Wow. We already link to the SIMPL forums on my site, the "news" is a blog, and we could easily create another page/site for a blog.
