Re: Anyone else independent? ...

i'm independent but not like that

i've got plenty of good friends and a few close family members that i talk to a lot
but when it comes to like doing stuff (classwork, chores, that kind of stuff) i like doing it by myself

it's some sort of pride issue i have
i like being able to take all of the credit for something so if someone has to help me then that ruins it

still exaggerating

your family loves and why would they be your friends if they felt like they weren't allowed into your life?

if that doesn;t help:therapy, the sooner the better

then: therapy, the sooner the better

or maybe you should try reaching out to them instead of waiting for them to reach out to you.

Hello? They love and know you, they obviously just don't understand you.

Well if you wanted honesty, that's all you had to say. I never want to let you down or have you go, it's better off this way.

Re: Anyone else independent? ...

You are not independant until you are not...
1) Living with someone else who pays for your house (with or without you helping them pay)
2) Depending on someone else for an allowance or payment
3) Using another's good or services without pay

Yet, everyone is still dependent in a way, because even if you have your own house that you pay for and your own job that gives you money to pay for your food and necessities, we still need someone to build our house, farm any food we eat, weave or sew the clothes we wear, and invent the things we use everyday.

Well, unless of course, you plan to be a logger/architect/construction worker/farmer/seamtress/inventor/woodworker.

I may be wrong, but this one part of the post makes it seem like a cry for attention.

If you think your parents don't know you, get off the computer and talk to them.

Edit: You seem to be saying that you act differently than you feel. Uh, why?

Didn't you say you're parents beat you at one point in a topic you made that got closed?
