So i know that the scratch team doesn't like arguements, flame wars, or people getting mad at each other. So my question is why they include the smiley face, when it shows hostility and makes the other person feel either guilty at provoking such an emotion, or riles them up to retaliate.
Why? I am just curious...

Maybe the intent was for it to be used for sarcasm or as a way to avoid text flames? I have no idea, nice question!

But that isn't important...
The ST has to consider priorities I guess:
1. !!!!!!!! Scratch 2.0 !!!!!!!!
2. Fixing the censor problems
3. Other important stuff
5.Non-urgent Grammar-Nazi things
6. ???
7. PROFIT!
