Rap, especially earlier rap does have meaning. Yes, I won't deny some rap is just swearing, sexism, and violence, but that's just mostly mainstream sell out rappers.

@Blade-Edge: If they don't like the sound, then they don't have to listen to it, but they at least have to stop complaining that "Black Eyed Peas have no meaning". They don't NOW, but they did before.

No but most mainstream music is created by untalented weirdos.

I can definitely agree, but I'm talking about BEP before they released Monkey Business, and completely sold out.

Also Blade I'm not a hipster, and I totally agree with you about letting people listen to what they want

Never heard them... But I've heard Slash's Beautiful Dangerous which featured Fergie (and she sang pretty good there IMO, love that track).
