This new advertisement screen popped up when my xbox booted up. according to it, it says: "join Xbox live, the FREE online sevice" or something like that. is it REALLY free? post your questions or anything else here

Actually, I'm pretty sure that "free" refers to Xbox Live Silver accounts, which don't allow you to join parties, chat with friends, use Last.fm, etc.
