I think Xbox Live may be FREE now! :D
This new advertisement screen popped up when my xbox booted up. according to it, it says: "join Xbox live, the FREE online sevice" or something like that. is it REALLY free? post your questions or anything else here

What? I just payed for a full year of Live!
Actually, I'm pretty sure that "free" refers to Xbox Live Silver accounts, which don't allow you to join parties, chat with friends, use Last.fm, etc.

When you buy an Xbox360 you automatically get one month free of live
after that month you have to buy the gold card

Xbox Live Silver is free. Xbox Live Gold costs $$$. I have gold ...but it's a free trial, and will expire on the 25th
