As I stared off into the immense darkness below, I showed no fear.
Death always gives you the best ideas at times.
So as I looked over my shoulder, my only thought was clear.
Jump.
My feet left the ground as quickly as I landed. It felt like forever.
Suddenly, the scene sprang to life.
I was falling.
Falling.
I couldn't think. Couldn't move. Couldn't do anything.
I was going to die.
As I fell, I looked down. The brown ground was getting closer, fast. As my body hit the ground with incredible force, my last thought was defeat.
I had lost.
How do you like it so far? I'm going to keep writing while I'm at church.
