How do you do this?

How do you convert music made with Scratch to a .mp3?

Why do you need that? I don't really know, but I think you can't do that.

Re: How do you do this?

I suppose you could use Audacity to records your speaker sound while playing it.

I made a music track with Scratch and I want to put it on Scratch Resources.

I tried that, but there's just too much background noise.

Are you re-recording it using a microphone?  That will add a lot of noise.  I think Audacity can accept input from other sources besides the microphone...that might be worth playing with.

Or, if all else fails, you might have some success using a patch cable to route your headphone output back into your microphone input.  You stand a pretty good chance of over-powering your sound board though.  Keep the volume very low and realize that you are voiding your warranty and doing this at your own risk  smile

Re: How do you do this?

I take it your latest music project was the one you wanted to convert?

If so, you're in luck.

Oh and ignore the description. You're the "Someone"

Just save the file somewhere. It's an MP3 sound.

Edit: In answer to your first question. I recorded it in farps recording internal sound (only way I can think of) then converted it to Mp3.

Re: How do you do this?

I usually just change the extension and my computer does the rest.
