My -DUN DUN DUN- new -DUN DUN DUN- other book.

Yeah. It's called Maxis Blake. Gonna upload some of it soon, but here's chapter 8.

So this sucks. I mean, sure, I at least now have a home, and sure, it's better than being on the run for the majority of your life. Yeah, it's better than most of the things that happen to me, but come on! School? I mean, I have claws here, people!
But anyways, Catherine was taking me to school.
With Elizabeth.
Yeah, I was going to school. And so far, I hate it.
In algebra, I was completely confused. I mean, all I've learned is from wolves, self-experience, TV, and the Internet.
Next came chemistry, my now most/least favorite class besides biology, except for when I puke when I have to dissect something.

More to come soon!

Why chapter 8, and chapters should be like 3000 words longer.

Still not done, and I lost the original draft.

Sucks for you. I think you should call up Maximum Ride's publisher and stuff and ask them if you can parody your book. -_-

Could you just leave me alone for once, and butt out of my stuff? This was for people who actually READ and care about my stuff.

That was the chapter? I thought you were just complaining about something
It's short
I didn't really get into the story or understand the characters
I wouldn't pay money for it

I don't see the reason of posting it, then, if you don't even have the good draft of it
It's like making a sandwich and then staring at it instead of eating it

Well, normally, I would try not to forget any of my characters' names too

Re: My -DUN DUN DUN- new -DUN DUN DUN- other book.

These characters also have personalities I haven't forgot.

Maxis: Hacker, talks a lot, leader.
Cody: Very, very bad gas. Eats a lot, and I mean he can eat 20 hot dogs in 5 minutes.
Dylan: Co-leader.
Angelina: Can change age at will, 6 years old.
James: A very good chef.
Johnathan: He's very quiet and can sink into shadows. He also has a crush on a girl we met in Atlanta.

wouldnt it be common sense when writing books to remember that?

Yes, but I haven't opened the draft in about 5 weeks. And it's on my flash drive, I just want to edit the book before I release it.

Re: My -DUN DUN DUN- new -DUN DUN DUN- other book.

Those aren't really personality types
What is a hacker? Using that as a personality makes me think of him as a greasy nerd who sits at a five screen computer station all day writing codes and being boring
Co-leader???? Of what? Shouldn't he have been above gassy then?
And a person who can change their age at will. Okay whatever, your story. Doesn't say anything about her attitude though.
Good chef. Gordon Ramsey is a good chef, and he swears all the time. That's the character I guess this guy is, right?
And the guy 'we' met in Atlanta. What. Self inclusion?

Try to not use "so" as much, even if it's from the perspective of a teenager or something.  Just a suggestion, you don't need to listen to it.

Hacker is a guy who can open a laptop and get into a website's database in 5 minutes.
Co-Leader is just a guy who helps a lot.
Changes age at will. Her attitude changes with the age.
Good chef. Well, he DOES swear a lot, but only in times of need.
And the girl 'we' met in Atlanta. 'We' as in the group of kids and teens who have been on the run for most of their lives growing up with wolves etc., etc.

'So yeah. Another book.'
I bet that's what most people are thinking. I said MOST, and I know that some people are thinking that, but I'm not naming names because I don't exactly know anyone who is most likely thinking that.

But hey, I'm writing a book, and if your gonna start a discussion, then make a discussion thread for it.

We're discussing the book. so shouldn't we stay here?

And maybe call the book Maximum Ride, that sounds good.

You have wings, the main character is Maxis, so it's a perfect fit.

You have wings I clearly stated claws, not wings., the main character is Maxis, so it's a perfect fit.

You got it wrong. As I noted in red, not wings.

It said wings the first time I read it, and I didn't bother to reread today.
