By the way, the theme designers are done so all we need to do is wait for two more graphic designers to sign up.
Ok, I'm looking out for good graphic-ed projects to recruit people. Do you know there's a HUGE collection of space sprites? Check it out!
EDIT: Here's something. If you like it, I'll ask JonathanPB to join.

I don't think he drew them himself.

I implied that the sprites could be imported not drawn/

Good idea. I think that'll work. Thanks a lot!
-Hardmath123Now the question is, which chat client do we use?
3 ideas:
the link I've mentioned before many times, for the record: HAS ANYBODY SEEN THIS YET?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Club penguin.
A mesh project. All you need is:Code:
forever: ask: your comment here \/ add [answer] to [list: Chat1] _|^I'll post it if you want.
I'm surprised I haven't gotten randomly logged out yet! Oh, and congratulations, you're reaching-wait for it- 200 replies !
Alright. We'll use my panther chat project. I'll upload it to a temporary page on the website.

Should we wait for Scratch 2.0 for the programming? It could improve quality, but since we will be new to it, it might be better to use what we know well.
I don't think it will matter.
I can't download. Can I use Experimental viewer?
If you don't care for uber lagginess, go ahead.
Also, who posts the finished project? SRRCollab or SRR(normal)?
It's going to be on the weebly website, so I guess I post it. It's probably going to be to big for the normal website.
Will it have mesh capability?
Obviously. It'll use Panther for that.
So, if we only post it on the weebly website, then will we have another project that we all post on our own accounts with a link to the project, and they can leave their comments on the project there, or just SRR could post it, but I dunno really....
And also, if it has mesh capability then would it be just two people at once, or would it be able to have a map that has enough room for more than that, perhaps 8 at once or more?

Mesh can connect infinite computers until it doesn't have enough memory left for all of them.

Sorry, graphics designers was already full. I hadn't gotten around to adding the link to the last person yet.

Could you add me to the discussion?

You're not in the discussion. It's the theme designers right now. I'll add you to the discussion when it's time for the sound composers to work.

So what are we waiting for now?

Well, with that it all comes down to how much space on the maps there is.

Well anyway. IDEA: For meshing, we could set up a gigantic server in which you could host and join games from different people.
PS: You might also have to make an account...Quite easy on panther.

Good idea. Who has a computer with a crazy amount of RAM? (I've only got 2 gigs)

My computer is fairly huge, I'll have to delete some files though. (Random scratch projects and JPEG files.

Could I apply for sound? I know how to use Audacity and can probably make different voices by changing the pitch and speed.

i'm been watching the theme discussion and i jsut want to say that a turn based strategy game would be much easier (think Fire Emblem type). no pathfinding, and simper AI programming. also, 3D terrain/maps are way too complicated for scratch. try different graphic tiles to represent different altitudes.

*facepalm* we're doing what we said we are going to do.
