Ah - one more thing to take note of. I am fairly certain that is the 'official' response, but obviously I am not the Scratch Team so I can't say that is out official stance.

I would assume that this is the official stance. Most comments posted by Scratch Team members discourage involvement when dealing with someone acting inappropriately, and encorage flagging instead. For example, here:

Thanks for clarifying!  smile  I was fairly sure I'd read something about this somewhere, but looking for it later on, I couldn't find it  smile

Re: Fall 2010 Community Moderator Elections

A kind of related question -- when a person becomes a moderator, do the scratch team and previous mods have an email or tutorial ready upon welcoming just like with curators?

Probably via email, or perhaps over-the-phone or via Skype so that nothing can be faked.  smile

In reality, it involves:

My Laptop
Audacity
An I/O Cable for sound (AKA Line-in)
A fake e-mail address
A phone-jack to 3.5mm-jack converter
A Microphone
A good excuse for buying item 3 off amazon
A cover story

Instead of thinking of ways to hack, think of positive comments and encouragement to give to the members.

Will this apply to TBG Moderators as well? Because most of them are 13...

From what I can gather, this won't apply to the TBG.  smile

Just wondering - but where'd this information come from? It's also quite possible that was just a rough estimation, so don't go around expecting anything  smile
