Yeah...scratch wasn't working, so i posted it in the forums because HNP wanted to see it. ^^ it got a super high grade. i just had to bleep my teachers names. sorry, safety thing. ^^ anywho...enjoy! big_smile

A Math Problem

One plus one times six times five,
Divided by three plus four minus two,
I wonder how much longer I can stay alive,
But I don’t know about you.

Plus nine times six divided by X *sigh*
Minus three times one-hundred-and-seven,
I think very soon I’m gonna die!
Divided by eight times eight plus eleven.

Times sixty-two plus 6/13 *cries!*
Minus 3.141592654, isn’t that pi?
All this math is burning my eyes!
I hope this problem’s soon coming to a tie!

Only half and hour left of math, I have music next, don’t I?
But this piece was for writing I thought,
All I hope is that the time isn’t a lie,
And I can get the freedom I sought.

I hate that word, you know, “sought”
But it was the only thing I could think of that would rhyme,
With the word thought --
--OMG! Look at the time!

OK, quick now, let’s get back to the equation,
I must finish it before class comes to an end,
I just found some more information,
Like X=37.

X plus three minus twenty-two,
This problem is as large as the sea,
This problem seems the opposite of new,
And I hope you notice Ms. -------, I just used a hyperbole and simile.

Finally I’m done,
The answer’s 240.6820697.
I am number one!
I can’t believe I finished it before going to heaven.

Now you’ve heard my Tale of Woe,
And you’ve felt my sadness,
Maybe you teachers should think before you go,
And give us problems like madness.

Well, now that you see how much I hate math,
I guess I’ll see you later,
Ms. ----- will feel my wrath,
‘cause I used a calculator.

And I did try to mess with Scratch blocks. I ended up making the Broadcast and wait () seconds block big_smile

I can give you the location and code; but without Javascript, it doesn't work online, so someone has to download the project to run the script smile
