I got flash, but it is hard to use Action Script, and I don't want people to edit my project, so I want to turn it in to flash.

You can turn a Scratch file into an application:
Download Chirp
Download scratch2exe
Open scratch2exe folder
Open scratch2exe
Select the Scratch file you want to convert
Select an .ico picture (or click cancel)
Voila...

Well, Scratch 2.0 is to be written in Flash, and enterpreted by it in the online player, too - so there's hope for a Flash file! It won't necessarily be a .swf file in it's own, but it'll probably work like the Java file does now, by enterpreting files you input.

Actually, allowing Scratchers to export their projects as stand alone files (that play on most any operating system) is on the list of features we want for Scratch 2.0. So I can't make any promises - but we hope and plan to make this possible!
Help Scratchers make the leap to 2.0!

There are many patches out there that allow you to use Flash free, but I'm pretty sure they're illegal...
i'm pretty sure mit, a college that has an emphasis on science and technology, would have a copy of flash somewhere in their servers.
