But this isn't cheating the filter. They are typing out the actual word without the spam filter stopping them!

Orl korrect = original meaning of OK. OK or "orl korrect" was a humorous way to say "all correct" in the old days. That's why OK is sort of slang.

You're correct. OK may or may not have originated as orl korrect.

Maybe. I wasn't under the impression that many people knew about that.

But even so, the Scratch Team should fix this if it is the case.

But it's quite difficult to do... Alt codes are almost always a sure-fire way to cheat the filter.

Or just ban the alt character itself, then all alt-codes should cease to function.

Yeah, but they are two different words, with two different meanings. It wouldn't make sense to fliter "dam" just because some people use it badly. It could be used constructively, too.
