Wierd I tried to link to his user homepage but it wouldn't do it. Paddle to See when you go to Bluestribute's homepage, his friends list has him on their. Still wierd.

I pretty sure it's possible, even though your username is in the mandatory fields (and it has to be at least three letters). I tried signing up as a user with no name, but instead of saying something like "password is not valid" or whatever, it said, "Username is taken", which makes me assume that it's possible to have such a name. It is odd, though.

You see? scratch.mit.edu/users/ is the "" user. It is just a bug, a standard profile. You can click "add to friends" there.
