I've also seen a user called god who types in all caps and picture is pure white. He/She should be banned because it makes fun of religious values

I pretty sure it's possible, even though your username is in the mandatory fields (and it has to be at least three letters). I tried signing up as a user with no name, but instead of saying something like "password is not valid" or whatever, it said, "Username is taken", which makes me assume that it's possible to have such a name. It is odd, though.

I think it is just a bug, not a person.
You see? scratch.mit.edu/users/ is the "" user. It is just a bug, a standard profile. You can click "add to friends" there.
