Re: Calling Infinifish Members!

I'm tired and it took me about 5 minutes to make a basic level one. I'll improve on it later.

black= platform [duh]

red= bad

green= good

What's "good"?  A bonus?

And what shall "start" and "end" be?

the green is the goal you need to get to. we dont need to necceseraly(mind my spelling)
use color sensing, but we could use it to show the player that the goal is what you need to get to. and uf you touch red, well, u die

My second level, it may be too hard, so you may want to edit/remove some of the red.

If you need anything specific done, tell me now, because i'm going to be in Washington DC the next 10 days. I could just do a marathon session to day and design lots of levels.

Here's two possible levels.

Too puzzle-ish?

Re: Calling Infinifish Members!

ok, so far we havie 2 levels from kileymiester and 4 from ournamestoolong

2+4=6  big_smile

we need to figure somthing out here because people have different concepts going...
should we do somthing unique? or should we keep it simple?

I think it's not that much of a reach, we just have two different concepts. I really like Kiley's idea of gravity changes.

Re: Calling Infinifish Members!

I can work with all these concepts, I have a great idea for the gravity change,  and style difference won't matter, I'll change up any of those differences.

Fantastic, this should work, I have an idea for a gravity change stage, but i'll just sketch it if you have an idea for the programming. (i'm going to DC at the END of today, so you have me one more day.)

Re: Calling Infinifish Members!

Ok, this is really messy, but I suppose if it's going to be redrawn, you just need the basic concept. The purple swirls just reverse gravity, and you need to dodge lava as you go from platform to platform.

Re: Calling Infinifish Members!

Well, it seems we died down again.  Fortunately I have a whole new batch of level designs for the game.

These turning wheels should interlock and not overlap.  If they are spinning at the same speed they should work fine.
http://i46.tinypic.com/17xudy.jpg

An average level
http://i50.tinypic.com/wcondd.jpg

This one may take explaining.  Basically in this the gravity radiates away from the center, so the stick figure's feet are always pointing away from the center.  Kinda like a reverse of planetary gravity.  I'll help with (or do all of) the movement script for that.

The red blocks move back and forth in the direction of the arrows.

Re: Calling Infinifish Members!

Let's see, I have 4 levels, and Kiley has 6, so I believe that's enough.

We gotta get working on this.

(I'll be back home tomorrow, i'm still on vacation)
