I love how everybody so far has posted topics asking what these are...

It's cool. Everyone who has posted a topic in this forum has asked what a sensor board... Sorry Scratch Team for clouding up your new forum... but, hey, just wanted to point this out!

I don't know a lot about sensing. While i'm making my Scratch games I don't use sensing a lot so i'm a little confused about this.  tongue

This dang mic can't record anything. I dunno what is wrong. When I record my playing of my piano none of those green lines that says how high your playing at show up.

My mic is on but it probably has to do with the wires inside the mic.

A sensor board has various sensors that can send values to Scratch, allowing things outside your computer to interact with your projects.
A Scratchboard was a small board with a sound sensor, light sensor, slider, button and 4 ports with alligator clips to measure resistance. The board connects to your computer through USB and then you can use the sensors and controls to interact with Scratch projects . They are now available as PicoBoards, and are almost identical.
