I made a Wall Jumping Engine, if anyone would like to see it.
Anyone can use it, but give credit please!
Also, if anyone would like to check it for glitches/improve it, that would be much appreciated.
WHAT IT DOES:
Basically it is like a normal movement engine, with a slight addition. It detects if you are not on the ground, pressed against a wall, and facing the wall. Then it presses you against the wall, slowly sliding down. If you press up, it pushes you off the wall. If you hit the ground, you fall off the wall. If you press the arrow key away from the wall, you drop.
HOW IT WORKS: (I will be demonstrating jumping off a left wall, the right wall is the same with the horizontal variables switched)
If you aren't on the ground, if left sensor detects wall and Dir=left, set <action> to "wall" (Action is a variable for my wall-jump costume). Set X velocity to 0 (stops your horizontal motion so you don't fly off the wall). Set Y velocity to -0.1 (makes you slowly slide down). If "Jump"=3, (Jump is a variable to detect your pressing of up the up arrow, if it is one you jumped off the ground, if it is 2 you are able to jump off the wall, if it is 3 you did jump off the wall) set Y velocity to 10, set X velocity to 5 (pushes you off the wall).

Hmm... This may be in the wrong forum. Should this be in "Advanced Topics" or "Show and Tell", because I think this forum is for more advanced stuff than this.

I wouldn't know where to begin with a wall-jumping engine. It's more advanced than your typical Scratch project, so I assume it couldn't hurt for it to be here.

Yeah, I guess you're right.
This is technically also a bump :D

Good job, Kileymeister!
I'll propose for your project to be featured when the contest is over. Now you can be famous like RHY! (RHY made "Perfect Platformer Base")

Oh, good! A mod moved this to show and tell, this topic really does belong in this forum more.

Whoa whoa wait, if you do that, then my test account will become famous and the actual me will be ignored.
That would be horrible.
