It can be useful for undo and redo buttons!

Re: Remember and unremember blocks?

Unremember? What kind of English is that?

Now, being serious, what do you mean?

When you forget something.

Here, like if your not being kind, you call it "unkind".

Re: Remember and unremember blocks?

The way you're explaining it makes me think that variables or lists will do the job well.

Re: Remember and unremember blocks?

Ok, you need to tell us this: WHAT IS BEING REMEMBERED?

Re: Remember and unremember blocks?

Use variables to "remember" one thing and lists to "remember" many.

Re: Remember and unremember blocks?

Maybe it stores the entire state of the program...all sprite  and script states.  That would be pretty cool actually.  It would make restarting the project really easy.

Re: Remember and unremember blocks?

Doody said something about a undo and redo remember... I don't think it's that simple...

Ok, I really think you need to give us a clear explanation. All this speculation is just plain weird.

Change the "unremember" to forget. Okay, now lets start:

The Rememeber block can be REDO if you want a redo button in your game, and the forget block can be UNDO to undo something in your game like a paint program!

Re: Remember and unremember blocks?

Good idea. Then we can also have a gravity block, and a scroll block.

It's not that simple. You can't just "UNDO" and "REDO" something like that.
