Uh...  So what's with the mysterious girl in the poster for that Wii Legend of Zelda game?
Is she a Zora?  An oversized fairy?  Something different?

There has been a lot of talk over these subjects ever since the picture was released.
However, I am having a hard time trusting the picture since it was revealed that the Zelda team was unsure of the style of the graphics for ZWii.
This set my train of thought back two years. I'm only nervous about that.

However, I believe strongly that the girl is the spirit of the Master Sword and Link is shown as right handed because that is how the Wii Controller is held.

I just said that. Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Metroid: Other M will be coming out this year, and New Super Mario Bros. Wii is making a huge splash in the Wii gaming world. Zelda Wii may get ignored a bit because of these other games.

If it's ignored by the majority, it will still get a cuddle from me.

I'm actually afraid Other M will be terrible. Being a Metroid fan, I can't bear to think how Team Ninja will kill it. So far it looks like a terrible fighting game instead of an exploration game--what Metroid is supposed to be.

From the trailer, the graphics look great. I suppose it does look more like a fighting game than an exploration game. However, I've never played a Metroid game. I have Metroid Prime Trilogy, but I haven't played it yet.

Prime and Echoes I think are the best. Corruption wasn't puzzle-y enough for me.

Prepare to face much frustration in Echoes.

And lots of puzzles in all.

But most of the puzzles in Prime and Echoes.

I don't think it's going to be "alone" enough. All the other Metroid games before (save Corruption and Fusion) have been thoroughly ALONE. No communication, no whatever.

Samus has never spoken before either, so....

I simply can't imagine Link speaking. With an actual voice.
When I try, I laugh so hard because my view has been distorted by fans with deep voices who have VA'd for Link in flashes.

That's why I almost cried when I saw Metroid Prime 3: Corruption had voice acting xD

I haven't played it because I have a bunch of games that I haven't played/still have objectives to complete on, and I'm saving MPT for later because it looks really good. I'm a best-for-last kind of person.

I wore a Zelda shirt there once and I was dragged into a conversation on the merchandise. I love those guys.
