Curator spot, because anything can get Top Loved or viewed. Only the good shtuff gets in the curator spot.

Like if you looked at some past curators.
some of them have picked projects from their friends first

I find that very offending. Don't point my name. I think that those projects on my friends list were very helpful, I used those to stall as I was going to find more. They said to choose atleast 2 each week, so I used those as a stall, so I can find that. They do not have to be complex to be found. I know curators that chose projects that were already very popular in the past, sure it' be nice to put them there for newer users, but that's not giving others a chance! But would the curator like it if I pointed out there name? No. Not at all. I have nothing against them, so there.

The first thing I would do as curator would be to curate Combinebobnt's Apocalyptic Whatever - cuz he deserves it, not because he's my friend.

You don't understand my reasons. This is another reason of possible leaving for me. I'm already sick and tired of drama, but where the drama comes from is where I usually go. The second is these people who can't understand us artists and animations, and me, I usually agree with the oppisate opinions, but it always offends me anyway. Please do not call me a whiner, that cause me to just 'whine' more. I felt very respected when I got featured the first time, and I was so happy to be curator. Reading FMT's post made me regret that.

I agree with your reasons,I think that when being in the respected position of curator is seen as a bad thing then people are defintly being idiotic.I wouldn't know much about your other reasons though,because i've only recently begun to use forum posts non-related to my company or a problem a user is having.

We really like to see a variety of different selection styles from a variety of different curators.  Please do not start second-guessing their choices.  We want people to think of the curator spot as a fun way to show other people their interests and share projects they enjoy or learned from.  If we start "pointing fingers" at specific curator decisions...it's not going to be fun for them and we are going to have a hard time finding new curators.

Thank you very much paddle2see. I think the new thread I posted will probably be closed though.....I had that idea much earlier than when I saw it, but I just got around to actually making it.
