English:
Our current paint editor uses a color picker (spectrum mode) that does not have any "part grey" colors.
Many other programs use editors like this:
Notice that the color fades to grey (gray) as it goes down, and gets darker as it goes to the left. Other colors can be selected, because of the bar on the right.
Like the idea?
Oh, also, the ability to enter a hex code would have some use too!

Nice how its in different languages. Anyway, I like the idea! I like all of it, with the mix of gray, and how theres hex codes that would be WoNdErFuL!

I would love that feature. it would be sooooo much easier.

That would be easier but I would like to also be able to customise the defult colours/colors. So I can use the same colour/color in another project.

Geat idea!
If this kind of color picker would be used in the paint editor, I think there should also be [ set pen greyness to ( ) ] and [ change pen greyness by ( ) ]-blocks to use with the other pen-blocks.

Being able to enter Hex into it is what I've always wanted.

great idea! that would allow for much more interesting colors. Only one thing. when you export, it exports as a .gif . Gifs have limited colors, so some of those may not work.

This needs to be in the Pen Tool aswell. We have Hue (colour) and Brightness (shade). All that's needed is saturation. And Hex colours (FFFFFF). ...And RGB colour values (255, 255, 255)

Even with the sort of color picker, you can't really tell if it's "mixed." Really, it looks blue, or it looks gray.

Even if you can get similar colors (can't you?) with the current color picker, it would be a lot more convenient to get a more exact color. I'm always having trouble trying to get an exact one...
Off topic: How many people say "color" and how many say "colour"?

American English says "color"
But UK English says "colour"
