The forum blocks have not been updated since Scratch 1.1. yikes

The things that need to be done:
1: Numbers must be changed to Operators.
2: Motor Blocks need to be added.
3: We are missing 34 ( yikes ) blocks and have 5 ( yikes ) old blocks that no longer exist. This needs to be fixed. The list of blocks that need to be added and removed come later.

The blocks are fuzzy, big, and people don't like to use them because it's all messy (some people build scripts in Scratch, import a picture of the script to some photo-hosting website, and use that instead of the forum blocks). Is it possible to change it? And it would be nice if the blocks fit together nicer (again, if that's possible).

The old blocks that need to be removed are:

Sensing: <color [ ] is over [ ]?>
Operators: (abs [ ]) (it has been replaced by "([ ] of [ ] )")

Motor Blocks: None (since the forums haven't been updated yet tongue )

Look at it! It hasn't been updated for a long time, and we're missing tons of blocks and we have five old blocks that need to be removed! It's not good... sad

I was also thinking about this. The current blocks were from 1.1 by the way. Updates are long overdue in my opinion.

Yeah...this has been on the fix-it list for a long time. It was in the process of being updated and then 1.4 came along with new blocks and it got sent back for more work.

Yea, these REALLY need to be updated... someone mind making a online program to make these for us, then the Scratch Team can just implement this and everything is fixed. big_smile

I second that. And like 06dknibbs said, the blocks don't line up too well and some are bigger or too fuzzy. I wish you could right click a block or a script and there will be a option of Upload To Image Shack. That will save a picture and upload it to Image Shack automatically and it will also spit out the link to the image.

This isn't a thread for suggestions, guenterjan. It's about updating the forum blocks.

Anyway, why hasn't the Scratch Team done anything yet?
Probably just lazy.

For quality, making them in Scratch and uploading a picture of them works best. smile

Which is why I like illusionist's suggestion the most... it's a script editor in the forums. yikes
