Re: Multiplayer Scratch Suggestion

Scratch has network which would allow you to make multiplayer games, it's been available since 1.3 http://scratchconnections.wik.is/

I mean multiplayer for people without pico boards and stuff...but I don't see how even WITH a pico board or something you could make a game in scratch have multiplayer.

Re: Multiplayer Scratch Suggestion

Yeah, that's what it is, it goes for the boards and other computers.

Re: Multiplayer Scratch Suggestion

Well if scratch had that feature it would be cool! but its programming simple for kids even 8! So yea thats only possible with adobe flash CS1, CS2, CS3, or CS4! I did hear about this thing that was supposed to be in 1.4 called BYOB mesh but never happened! The only thing sort of multiplayer would be like a chat bot!

<when green flag clicked>
<forever>
<if> <mouse down?>
<point towards( mouse pointer )>
<glide( 1 )secs to x sad  <mouse x> )y sad  <mouse y> )>

That would be a moving script!

Re: Multiplayer Scratch Suggestion

Mesh was taken from 1.4 and put into BYOB, but 1.4 has Mesh you just have to change the source code to get it to show.

Please don't bump old threads. Thanks.

Re: Multiplayer Scratch Suggestion

It'd be nice, but it'd be sort of... well, it doesn't really make sense to me and it'd probably be hard to implement.
