Should I use my 3D engine (unlimited angles but a bit slow) or should I make rotated costume renders (much more jittery and large but faster)?

Rhy you're making the character(s)
I'm making the the level map, and some graphics, like walls and grass.
The-Whiz, Could you start making a Scrolling base?
Maybe not scrolling. It laaags unless you have a strong method of optimisation.

Ok, have you checked out the demo for my Cube Guy halloween? it's not scrolling but it maintains the speed when the background is changed.

We can enter early if we're fast enough.

Ok you're more skilled than me, I don't know what matte is
The grass is green (#006633)
And the bricks for the walls are red/brownish (#993300)

I was thinking that we make each obstacle (wall, tree) as a sprite and the use the smap block to make the levels, what do you think?

I've made a simple prototype for the thing I described.
First you use the level editor to make a level, then you export three lists.
Then in the game we import these lists and the levels will be generated.

I just finished the random guy sprites, here they are:

Should I make anything else? (level scenery etc? couple trees/bushes/zombies?)
