Scratch

This has turned into such a ridiculous flame war that it's not even funny anymore.

But probably a million of them were members and didn't say they wanted it deleted.

Does it matter if there's an off topic thread? Not really, it's a place where people can talk about things other than Scratch for a change. That's what off topic threads are for.

Have a heart yourself!    You don't seem to care at all about other people. And also, do you think making a decision is going to stop people from yelling at you? People are probably going to be mad at you for a very long time.

Quick suggestion for JPB: Close this topic. I think it would benifit all of us...    We don't want a flame war on our hands do we?

I really don't want to keep this arguing up, but I want to point something out.

Here are the main forums:

Notice the fact that they are in completely different sections of the forums. If the forums were the universe, those would be the same as two different planets. Some people look through the offtopic section and some stay in the main forums. Some go to both. The decision is completely up to them. When you suddenly say the offtopic "planet" doesn't help this one in any way so it needs to be destroyed, it doesn't go by easily. (I know it would be more severe if you thought a planet needed to be destroyed just for doing nothing, but this follows some of the same logic.) That's why you're so hated by the people who go to the TBG most of the time, you basically say that you don't like the fact that they exist in the same universe and want them to either give up what they like to do or go somewhere else.
