Help with my variable "DS"... -Vista4563

Basically, I'm stuck on the part to cancel an action by countering it. I tried using my variable "DS" as an on/off variable (Show/hide the DS sprite.)

The troublesome block here is < [if] < (DS)={1} > AND <key ↑ (up arrow) pressed>>, do this.
It seems even though I've done finalizing the necessary blocks and block arrangements (at least I think I have), when I press the up arrow it does nothing. The DS: in plain view. The music: blaring. The key: not functioning. Please help! http://www.comicguide.net/images/smilies/asdf.gif

EDIT: I have it now... no more posts please.

As far as I'm concerned, this thread is closed.
