Re: Changing an Online project?

Can you do it so that you leave your existing project and then just upload changes?

Sure, I do it all the time.  Just make sure the project name is exactly the same as what is online, share it again and it will replace what is up there.  Sometimes it takes a few minutes to take effect.

Re: Changing an Online project?

You just upload a project with the same name as the one online that you want to update.

Your learn something new each day  smile

I didn't realise that if I kept the same name - the project id stayed the same!

I'd always thought that each new upload generated a new id!

Ta for info  smile

Re: Changing an Online project?

I think a "project manager" in the Scratch program would be useful... So that you can see your projects on your PC and manage them. Such as: "Update project", "rename project",  etc.

Another (maybe better) option is to have the project manager online. So you can right-click a project, select update... and a file browser should appear.

One thing is sure - it is confusing to type exactly the same name.
