Scratch

Does anyone else remember the Experimental Viewer? It was basically a prototype of Scratch 2.0.

2.0's layout is terrible and boring, I'm honestly not enthusiastic about the change, I SALUTE YOU 1.4!

It's because it's a major change (from Squeak to Flash, as well as the whole website change & stuff) so they're incrementing the leftmost number instead.

It could have, but they decided to do it this way to separate them further and because that's how it's usually done with software.

You can use the 1.4 program.

Scrath 2.0? I don't know exactly what it is, but I have the basic idea that it's some huge update coming to Scratch.

Can someone explain what it is? Sorry, I'm a n00b. 

I don't understand why they couldn't just change the editing program and keep the layout the same. There's really no reason to change the layout and most people (like myself) can't even navigate around from page to page anymore.

Fixed. It didn't come all that fast.    I've known about it for about 8 months now.
