Or a Finding Nemo sequel.
I can't picture Toy Story without a sequel (because I wasn't alive when it came out, most likely :P )

And I probably would have preferred a Monsters Inc. sequel not prequel
but eh.

But I mean, they all wrap themselves up really well! And some of them definitely don't need sequels.

But a Bug's Life one could be cool but you never really hear about that movie.

I think a Bug's Life works great as a standalone, but it's very underrated these days.

Also Monsters Inc. works better as a prequel, because afterwords you don't really know where they can go from there, but with a prequel we're seeing how Mike and Sulley first began their relationship and where everything comes into place.

Besides I'm still having trouble believing that Finding Dory is actually happening. I refuse to believe! I refuse!

Also Toy Story even when you just watch it without seeing the other two, it still kind of opens doors for sequels.

Re: Finding Dory

I think its a weird idea. I dont know the plotline yet, but...idk. It just seems like Nemo should have stopped at the first movie. Although I can see Dory getting lost very easily, lol.
My friend is ecstatic about this movie though.

I'm pretty sure it's about Dory's past. Why was Dory in the middle of the ocean? I heard that they are searching for Dory's family or something. I don't remember.

Okay then I'm sorry if I've asked too many times. I have a habit of repeating myself.

Re: Finding Dory

For a long time I thought Toy Story 2 was the first and only one because that was the only one we had on tape. I think I was 8 or 9 when I saw the first one

Funny thing is that I can't remember at which point in my life I actually understood what went on in Toy Story. I know it was at a very young age, but it's still very unclear to me. Same as when you can't remember when you began remembering things.

There's no evidence of that so I'm just going to conclude that I had mine first.

Anyway, Dory!

I'm sorry, but what was so good about that movie?  hmm

It was (I think) Pixar's first movie with mainly human characters, but the humans didn't look realistic, but that added to the charm.

pixar is never ever ever going to make realistic people

cause a bird and a fish could fall in love/but where would they live?

They are going to make that though.

And I think the only Pixar movies that shouldn't have sequels are Up, Bug's Life, Wall. E, and Brave.

I bet we share the same friend. :3

Anywho, I'd like to point out that Planes isn't being made by Pixar, since it was mentioned earlier in the thread. It is actually being made by Disney.

Re: Finding Dory

Honestly, I was watching Up the other day (Which is a fantastic film, don't get me wrong) but I was really distracted by how out of place and ridiculous the blocky, smooth, people looked when all other details and surfaces were beautifully rendered. I understand the style + separation of reality and fantasy they're trying to convey with it but it still looks so strange and wrong to me :'(

Yeah, the first time I watched it I really didn't like it because of how silly it got after they reached South America. The second time I watched it, I stopped watching before it got to that point! ^O^
