Hello,
I have been working with Scratch for a while now making learning games for my students with disabilities. I love the versatility of this language.

Hi, I'm machine_117. I've been using Scratch for a while now and I decided to create an account. I think it's cool to see others who enjoy creating programs with Scratch too.

Well hello MegaTNT454 and welcome! Since your wondering, lists are like lists in real-life; they store multiple items (or variables), which then can be used to store multiple positions, compact multiple variables that are rarely used, and other things like that.'

Well, if you need some help, you should post a topic in "Help with Scripts", though it'd also be best if you asked your teacher if this was okay. Once you do that, your bound to get some help.

Well I must agree, Scratch is very versatile and flexible! Also, it's very kind of you that you're being so nice and helpful to you students.

Well, I also find it cool that so many people enjoy creating projects. Really, it's nice, creative, and amazing.

Well, is there something specific that you're looking for? If not, then CAA14 (post #4465) has a nice website, though if you do, then ask away in Help with Scripts and you'll get some help right away.

Well, yes, I do have some.

1). Although you might not want to use variables seeing as your new, don't ignore them. Almost every game involves variable, and they can really make a game better, if used properly.

2). You don't have to, though before you start making your game, you might want to make sure that everything in it is within your capabilities, or will be soon (through though or questions). In other words, plan ahead.

3). If a game looks amazingly complex, or if most of it is out of your reach, then I'd recommend that you'd avoid that project for awhile, unless you really want to make it. Then, go ahead! It's going to be a great experience for you. Basically, what I'm trying to say is don't overwhelm yourself.

4). Finally, if you have any question and need help, then don't sit around. Unless you know you can reach an answer with some more though, it's best to ask here on the forums so that you can move onto programming. Or, if you prefer, you can hunt for a tutorial.
