Hello,
I have been working with Scratch for a while now making learning games for my students with disabilities. I love the versatility of this language.

I can't wait to finish my first project with Scratch. Unfortunately I can only work on it on my computer, but maybe someday we will be able to use it for mobile games. That would be awesome.

Hi, I'm machine_117. I've been using Scratch for a while now and I decided to create an account. I think it's cool to see others who enjoy creating programs with Scratch too.

Hi, i'm Pachabot! I've only been using Scratch for a couple of days, but I think I've got the hang of it. I'm glad to see so many people enjoy the same thing as me!
Here's my first Level, hope you like it!!:

Hi I'm MegaTNT454, as the name suggests, i like blowing things up, (In Games ) so check out my projects for some good games, and lots of things containing the script:
when I receive [Boom] say [Time for Explosions!] switch to costume [Explosion] stamp wait (2) secs ClearI'm rather new to scratch so if anyone can give me some tips, or tell me what in the world lists do, i would be really greatful!
Thank you and GoodBANG,
Jack Griffin(AKA MegaTNT454)
Well hello MegaTNT454 and welcome! Since your wondering, lists are like lists in real-life; they store multiple items (or variables), which then can be used to store multiple positions, compact multiple variables that are rarely used, and other things like that.'
Well I hope that this answers your question! Also, I wish you great times here!

Well, if you need some help, you should post a topic in "Help with Scripts", though it'd also be best if you asked your teacher if this was okay. Once you do that, your bound to get some help.
Anyway, hello JediDude6205 and welcome to Scratch! I wish you a great time here and in your class!

Hi I'm Becky! I'm using sense as part of my OU course. When I found out that it was basically just scratch I've downloaded that so I can upload some of the projects I've been working on!
Well that's great! I've always found it nice to upload projects because then I can get some feedback, let other people enjoy/use them, and other things like that.
Anyhow, hello Crother and welcome to Scratch! I wish you a nice time here!

Well, I also find it cool that so many people enjoy creating projects. Really, it's nice, creative, and amazing.

Well, yes, I do have some.
1). Although you might not want to use variables seeing as your new, don't ignore them. Almost every game involves variable, and they can really make a game better, if used properly.
2). You don't have to, though before you start making your game, you might want to make sure that everything in it is within your capabilities, or will be soon (through though or questions). In other words, plan ahead.
3). If a game looks amazingly complex, or if most of it is out of your reach, then I'd recommend that you'd avoid that project for awhile, unless you really want to make it. Then, go ahead! It's going to be a great experience for you. Basically, what I'm trying to say is don't overwhelm yourself.
4). Finally, if you have any question and need help, then don't sit around. Unless you know you can reach an answer with some more though, it's best to ask here on the forums so that you can move onto programming. Or, if you prefer, you can hunt for a tutorial.
I hope that this helps! Also, hello alohabricks and welcome to Scratch! I wish you man great projects to come!

ErnieParke
