Cool! Good luck! Yes I learned scratch by scripting simple things like
forever Move (variable) steps Change [variable v] by (1)

New scratchers cannot edit their posts

Yes, I know that new scratchers can't edit their posts, but I didn't recognize Imarti21's purpose for posting twice till now. Silly me.

Hi I'm Rose. I'm very new in scratch programming and there are many things I still don't understand...like for instance, after making the program in scratch, how do you make the new program run in your machine? Do you have to convert it? How do you make it executable? How do you make it windows, linux or mac compatible? Are there any limitations in scratch programming? If yes, what are those? I hope someone can help me. Thanks.

First hello and welcome Rose!
Now to answer your questions:
1). You can run it in Scratch (by pressing the green circle).
2). No, no conversion is needed.
3). You add hat blocks at the top of each script. An example would be:
when gf clickedand these can be found under control.
