hello, today is my first day
My name is Jacob but i go by jdrew. Im just a 12 year old trying to program to i can make a game. I think scratch can help me with that. i first started with simple but it seemed to real for me so i looked for other programing tools for new people until i found this and saw all the stuff. My Skype is jdrew3000 if you want to contact me. So if anyway could help me with my goal of creating a game that would be nice. Thank you for your time.

Welcome jdrew!! I'm sure you'll feel very welcome in here. Scratch is about fun, learning, interacting with other people and sharing! I'm the same age as you too! I'm sure you'll make great projects!

Welcome, Jdrew! You will love it here in the Scratch community. And it isn't too hard to program with scratch. Just search up "Scratch Tuturials" on Google and you will be sure to find many sources.
And if you run into any difficulties, don't be afraid to ask!

Welcome to Scratch, jdrew! I'm glad that you're interested in programming, it's a really nice field. 
If you need help with a game, you can ask for scripting help in the Help with Scripts forum, you can ask for ideas in the Project Ideas forum, and you can ask for anything else for your projects in the Requests forum. Scratch is a great way to get started with programming.
Be sure not to give out personal information (for safety reasons), such as your phone number, email address, or home address.
You should also read the Community Guidelines if you haven't already; it's very useful to know the rules when posting. You should also report posts that break the Community Guidelines.
By the way, I'm 12 too.
