Welcome, Jdrew! You will love it here in the Scratch community. And it isn't too hard to program with scratch. Just search up "Scratch Tuturials" on Google and you will be sure to find many sources.
And if you run into any difficulties, don't be afraid to ask!

Welcome to Scratch, jdrew! I'm glad that you're interested in programming, it's a really nice field. If you need help with a game, you can ask for scripting help in the Help with Scripts forum, you can ask for ideas in the Project Ideas forum, and you can ask for anything else for your projects in the Requests forum. Scratch is a great way to get started with programming.
Be sure not to give out personal information (for safety reasons), such as your phone number, email address, or home address.
You should also read the Community Guidelines if you haven't already; it's very useful to know the rules when posting. You should also report posts that break the Community Guidelines.
By the way, I'm 12 too.

Welcome to Scratch, jdrew!
I could try to help you, but you'd need to tell me what kind of game you want to make.
Then I could try to help from there.

I was giving a friendly introduction by stating some of the rules, if that counts as mini-modding, sorry.
