There's nothing wrong with it, making the statement false, making the statement true, making the statement false, etc.

A man lives in a one story house. Everything is yellow. The fridge is yellow. The TV is yellow. The couch is yellow.
What color are the stairs?
(This is the ONLY brainteaser you are GUARANTEED to get wrong.)

It's not a statement, it's a question. DERP.
@MBA
It doesn't have stairs, so, brown, because the would-be stairs are made from wood, and wood is generally brownish.

@AIDAN
@FIREDRAKE
You are both wrong.
The stairs are yellow. A house is still considered one story if it has a basement. And a basement has stairs.
I told you you were guaranteed to lose it.

Not all basements have to have stairs. You never specified that they were the basement stairs, therefore leading me to wonder if there were stairs, but possibly fell over on the side, or maybe even that the stairs were in an alternate universe.
1. So-and-so's mom asked if so-and-so took out the trash, and so-and-so said yes. What was the one definite sign that so-and-so was lying?
2. So-and-so is at it again. Mom asked them the same thing, and so-and-so said, "Yes, I look at the moon every single night." How did Mom know that so-and-so was lying?

A squirrel can carry out 3 ears a day. If there are 8 ears of corn, how many days will it take to carry them out? [highlight for a hint]
The squirrel is completely normal and has all of its body parts.

@luigi: skittles
@fire: 8 days

Depends on the velocity of the squirrel relative to you, and its acceleration.

I know a good one.
Imagine you are inside a room. This room is a box. This room is indestructible; that is to say, no force in the universe, known or unknown, could even scratch its surface. There are no doors or windows in this room. You have no tools or equipment. You only have the clothes on your back, which are of no help in this casenario. How do you escape?
EDIT: Heh heh, I'm such a ninja. :3

You are 3000 feet underground and you must die.

You can escape alive.
Which one and why?
