I'm unfamiliar as to what the TBG forums are, but I think that the only thing that is going to happen to them is that they will have a new look.

A section of the forums that is on a separate website where users can play text-based Ames together. It's awesome

Oh. If it isn't part of Scratch website, then I'm unsure what's going to happen to them. Anyway, thanks for telling me!

It is part of the Scratch Website, just a different forum for them.
I hope they leave it as it is.

jvvg has done a lot of things like that and we should respect him for it.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO
cpumaster made an announcement:

Sorry, but (after discussion with the ST), we've decided that we most likely won't be giving out the database.
• We feel it is better to leave these forums as they are and archive them rather than have copies continue to be posted on (possibly on several forums!). If one user gets the archive, it could spread and result in several TBGs being "almost-clones" of the original.
• If someone starts a forum based on the TBG, it could be interpreted that the ST endorses that forum, even that it has no control over it whatsoever; new policies may arise that may not fit the Community Guidelines. Of course, you're free to start a forum with whatever (legal) policies you want, but not one that seems to be endorsed by Scratch.
• Finally, moving all the posts over could be difficult from a technical perspective.

It's great to know that people here respect me (more than I can say for most people I know in real life...), but because of the announcement in the post above mine, I can't do that.
